•I created the World Tree for the Dark Forest zone from the Medieval Era in Manticore Games' Out of Time. The roots were using a couple of meshes on splines. I also created the canopy texture atlas in Photoshop and Substance Designer.
•The challenge with this mesh was that its goal was to not only be a giant point of interest, but a playable space within the roots and under the tree itself. It was a true joy to put this big mesh to work and have it be such an impactful part of the level design.
